Meet Jennifer
Jennifer Claydon completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of New Hampshire, and is currently the Senior Associate Director of Assessment at Yale University in a joint role between the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning and the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Program at the Medical School.
An avid reader, puzzle finisher, and yoga practitioner, Jennifer has started writing children’s books about science and nature to inspire the littlest learners. She lives in Trumbull, CT with her husband and two children on the Pollinator Pathway. Every summer her family searches wild milkweed for monarch eggs to raise on their screened in porch.

Meet Alex
Follow Alex:
Alex Claydon received his MBA and English Bachelor’s degrees from Fairfield University and is currently transitioning from his favorite role as a stay-at-home dad, to his new role as Controller for ONTHEMARC catering and events.
You can find him whistling to the bluebirds out in the yard with his guitar in hand. A lover of classic children’s books, Alex constantly creates stories for his children, often about nature and appreciating the beauty around them. He lives in Trumbull, CT with his wife and two children on the Pollinator Pathway and is trying to attract the four B’s to the yard (bluebirds, bats, butterflies and bees!)
